Hi, we’re Sean and Zoe. We recently swapped London’s skyscrapers for a bit more sky and relocated our little family to the south coast in search of a little more space and a new perspective. "Well, that’s great," we hear you say, "but what on Earth has that got to do with skincare?" Well, we’re glad you asked.

In our new place, sandwiched between the forest and the sea, we started to take things slower and began to notice the little things: the sound of seagulls instead of sirens, ponies loitering in the road instead of pedestrians, and for Sean, a few new wrinkles here and there. Some of this was caused by the stress of a second baby on the way, but it was also a wakeup call that he couldn’t take his skin for granted. 

However, skincare had been rattling around at the back of our minds for a while. A couple of months before this we were at the top of a mountain on a ski holiday with a doctor friend of ours having a conversation that stuck with us. After Sean revealed a pair of particularly impressive panda eyes after a day on the slopes, our friend reliably informed us that the main cause of aging for men’s skin is sun damage, and that the simplest thing guys can do to stave this off is to use a moisturiser with SPF (Sun Protection Factor) every day. We realised that this was something that could be easily added to any man’s daily grooming routine and would have such a huge impact on futureproofing their skin. But when we tried to find one to suit after we got home, we were underwhelmed at what was on offer.

So we decided to take matters into our own hands.

That’s why we founded The Other Saint: a sustainable skincare line for men that’s more than simply ‘good enough’, providing the kind of quality and choice that we feel guys deserve with a sustainable approach to both products and packaging. We wanted to design a system that will both futureproof your face and fit into your daily routine, whether you’ve got an afternoon to luxuriate or five minutes to prep before the school run. Whatever issue you'd like to address, this range is packed with the sort of super-charged ingredients that will hydrate, fight aging and tackle tiredness in order to give you god-like skin.

In fact, that’s how we came up with the name. We know these products are going to do good things to your face, and who are the people that do great stuff on a regular basis? Saints. The only problem is, we’re not very good with remembering which one is which, so our conversations inevitably just ended up as: “No, not that one, the other saint.” And here we are.
